The project goals were to conceive and construct a new yacht clubhouse designed around the member’s lifestyle and priorities, as a benefit to Coronado and Glorietta Bay as a boating harbor. Built in 1947, the yacht club’s new home updates the current facility and set up the Club to meet the future needs for world-class regattas, one-design racing, fine and casual dining experiences as well as live music and private events.

The Club’s anticipated development consists of the demolition of the existing single-story clubhouse, the junior’s clubhouse, and the maintenance shop. In its place will be a new one-story clubhouse with a view deck, a new junior sailing facility, restrooms and maintenance shop.

The marina will expand and be reconfigured to provide additional slips, improve the shoreline and shallow water areas, along with expanding and reconfiguring the parking areas.
