Andaz Scottsdale Resort & Spa, a luxury desert retreat which opened in December 2016, was recognized this week among the top resorts in the world in the coveted Condé Nast Traveler’s 2018 Readers’ Choice Awards, ranking #7 Top Resort in the U.S. Southwest. Andaz Scottsdale Resort & Spa received an overall score of 95.88 in the magazine’s 31st annual poll, published in its November 2018 issue. The list of 20 resorts in this region includes nine properties in the greater Phoenix/Scottsdale area and several more throughout Arizona, a popular destination for luxury leisure and business travelers.

Andaz Scottsdale Resort & Spa is located on 23 acres in Paradise Valley, less than two miles north of Old Town Scottsdale, the mid-century inspired resort features 185 bungalow-style guestrooms and suites. Andaz Scottsdale Resort & Spa draws inspiration from the innovative 1950s desert art scene and pays homage to notable artists who used the desert landscape as their artistic expression. Guestrooms feature comfortable and functional mid-century modern interiors, bathrooms with oversized showers with windows and skylights that fill each space with natural light and outdoor terraces.
