CURRENT OPENINGS
Architectural Project Manager
Delawie is seeking an experienced Architectural Project Manager to join our team to work on-site in our San Diego office. This role involves high-level project management duties from project inception through construction administration phases. The successful candidates must be a team player who is well organized, detail oriented, focused, design driven, accurate, and committed to continuous improvement. In particular, we are seeking individuals that support the mission and culture of the firm by demonstrating:

Responsibilities
- Manage projects of all sizes and levels of complexity and provides project team leadership.
- Assist in designing, documenting, and coordinating projects, from conceptualization through development and execution in the field.
- Follow projects from inception through construction to maintain design quality and intent.
- Develop project design schedules.
- Estimate project staffing requirements.
- Monitor and manage project staff work loads and project budgets.
- Support and assist other architectural technical staff in a team environment.
Qualifications
- • Architectural license required.
• 5-8 years of relevant experience in design/project management, with a focus on design and construction documents on a wide range of project types including hospitality, science & technology, corporate, industrial, federal, and educational projects.
• Leadership experience, including managing client expectations, multi-disciplinary teams, and commitment to meeting scope/schedule/budget requirements.
• Advanced knowledge of the architectural planning and design process, construction documentation, construction administration and code requirements
• Proficiency with Revit and BIM Collaborate Pro is required.
• In-depth knowledge of AutoCAD, SketchUp Modeling, MS Office, MS Project, and preparation of presentation materials.
• Effective verbal and graphic communication, organizational and collaborative skills.
• Experience working with authorities having jurisdiction (AHJ) for project requirements and permitting.
• Experience working directly with clients.

Architectural Staff
Delawie is seeking an experienced and talented Architectural Staff I to join our team in San Diego. The successful candidate will assist in the development of design solutions and preparation of construction documents in collaboration within a project team.
The successful candidate filling this position will:
- Have an engaging, client-centric approach to project delivery.
- Demonstrate a dedicated spirit towards client satisfaction through design excellence.
- Work under the direction of a Project Manager/Architect and Principal(s) and perform at a high level with limited oversight.
- Ideal candidates must be a team player who is well organized, detail oriented, focused, design driven, accurate and able to meet deadlines under pressure.
Responsibilities
- Assist in designing, documenting, and coordinating projects, from conceptualization through development and execution in the field.
- Follow projects from inception through construction to maintain design quality and intent.
- Participate in design presentations.
- Support and assist other architectural technical staff.
- Supports the Construction Administration phase assisting the Project manager by responding to RFI’s, reviewing submittals, etc.
Qualifications
Bachelor/Masters of Architecture preferred, with 3 to 5 years’ of experience post-education in an architectural firm, or equivalent, is desired.
Proficiency in the technical skills of architectural design including:
- Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD and BIM Collaborate Pro
- MS Office, including Teams, Word, Excel and Outlook
- Strong technical competency in Revit
- Demonstrated knowledge of the architectural planning and design process, construction documentation, construction administration and code requirements
- Excellent written, verbal and graphic communication, organizational and collaborative skills
- Willingness to work within a team.
- Actively involved in campus, community or other volunteer activities or organizations.
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
- Demonstrated leadership skills.
- Self-motivated and eager learner, aptitude to grow and develop within the field.
- Accreditation/Registration/Licensure or Pursuing
- Accreditation/Registration/Licensure preferred.
- Ability to support multiple projects.
