Oceanside Beach Resort

Project details

Oceanside Beach Resort

Our Oceanside Beach Resort project consists of the design of two blocks on what may be San Diego County’s finest remaining oceanfront development site, with spectacular views over the Pacific and a broad sandy beach. The South Block, totaling approximately 192,840 square feet, will contain a 226 room 6-story resort hotel with associated ballroom & function spaces, spa, restaurant, lounge/bar, kitchen and an elevated outdoor pool deck, plus a two-level, 225,000 square foot underground parking garage. The architectural style is a contemporary interpretation of the local Craftsman Beach Cottage.

The North Block will include a 158 room 7-story boutique hotel totaling approximately 131,467 square feet. Additional spaces will include a coffee shop, restaurant, kitchen, meeting and pre-function space, hotel spa/fitness room, and an elevated outdoor bar and pool deck. Retail spaces will be available at street level. The architecture of this block is inspired by a more modern beach house. The North Block plaza incorporates a reconstructed 19th-century historic beach house known as The Graves House, which was featured as the house of Kelly McGillis’ character in the film “Top Gun.”
