Located on over 13.5 acres within Naval Amphibious Base Coronado, the Combat Training Tank Facility boasts a 23M x 50M pool featuring three distinct depths and an underwater viewing room.

Together with the Basic Training Center (BTC) Schoolhouse and four renovated and expanded buildings totaling over 178,000 square feet, the complex serves as a hub for Naval Special Warfare Center (NSWCEN) training, practical instruction, and administrative operations.

The two-story BTC Schoolhouse is dedicated to delivering training tactics, techniques, procedures, and equipment for Basic Underwater Demolition/SEAL (BUD/S).

Extensive site improvements included utility infrastructure, parking, and vehicular circulation. Sustainability was integrated with the use of recycled content or biobased products in materials, recycled water for irrigation and passive thermal comfort.
