Welcome to Delawie, Myra Franco!

[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Delawie recently welcomed our newest intern to the Interiors Studio. Here’s what Myra had to say:

“My name is Myra Franco and I am an Interior Design student in my last semester at San Diego State University. When I was a child, my mom always had us making crafts and art projects, and my father worked in construction and had his own masonry business. I loved going to the job sites with him and seeing the way projects would transform from start to finish. It left a lasting impression on me and I would definitely say this is where my love for design started.

Some of my favorite things about design are the ways each design tells a different story about not only the user but also the designer, and the way design can transform a space and create different emotions and reactions. One of my favorite architects is Antoni Gaudi, and while my own style is not influenced by him in a literal sense, I truly admire the unique, creative qualities expressed in his work. He inspires me to not be afraid to push my own boundaries or doubt my own creativity, especially when it seems like something that may go beyond “the norm”.

I am really excited to have the opportunity to intern and be a part of the amazing work being done here at Delawie. I look forward to meeting you all over the course of my time here.”

From all of us at Delawie, we look forward to getting to know you, Myra!
